If this is your first time being nominated for a Beautiful Bakersfield Award or you just want to learn more about this event here’s a brief overview.
What you need to know moving forward with your nomination process:
- Confirm that the work you are nominated for was correct and completed in 2023.
- Confirm that the work directly benefited the local community.
(For example, if you ran a fundraiser and sent the proceeds to another country, that would not qualify for this program as our goal is to highlight the efforts that remain within our community.)
If you can confirm work was completed in 2023 and the benefit was for Bakersfield/Kern County, you are ready to move on and submit the additional information we will need, which includes:
Please complete the form to give us a better overall picture of your efforts during 2023. Keep in mind that you can save your progress at the bottom of the form by clicking “Save And Continue Later”, in case you are not able to complete the form in one setting. Simply provide your email and you will receive a link with instructions on how to continue your form submission.
The documentation you are asked to provide will help community members during the judging process and will be used to showcase your efforts during the awards gala. Upload your documentation (Photos, Press Releases, Video, etc.) to the form
- Please be ready to provide 5-7 high-resolution photos (Photos must be high-resolution and be no more than 5 MB.) Photo collages are not permitted!
- 1-3 Press releases/News articles and/or 1-2 short videos, etc. that are related to your nomination, if applicable.
Your presentation form must be submitted online no later than Friday, April 19, 2024. The presentation form must be submitted regardless of the amount of information that was submitted with the original nomination form. If there are any issues submitting online, please contact us.
